But i can't help it.

I don't like to be the one wearing pants in our relationship when making decisions regarding the wedding. But if you'd be more initiative and able to take care of the both of us. Then i can just be the small woman whom i've always wanted to be.

Your reaction makes me really wanna give up. Last night after tt post, i was still rather stressed up. Yet i love working under pressure cuz it spurs me on. Therefore this morning as soon as i got out of bed, i went to read up somemore in the forum.

But i really really hate it. It's as much as ur big day as it is mine. Not expecting u to put in more effort but at least give me some ideas when im raising some questions and accepting my views on certain things as well.

And now, i just wanna take some time off it.. Cuz i really feel like giving up on planning it now. So it's back to the old days now isn't it, upset over small matters.

The big day.

Not feeling so good towards the end of today. Was still feeling fine the whole day until i finally start to stop procrastinating and dive into the researching of the various topics with regards to the big day at about 6pm.

And 1 hour later, i realized one of the air condition units in the shop has water leaking from it. Argh. Total shame. Spent a long time mopping up the floor and moving the goods. Was rather frustrated with it cuz it's been barely half a year since they've renovated the place.

Suddenly overwhelmed with so many tasks to prepare for the wedding. Shoes and nu-bra to get before the fitting. And to even find the perfect one wouldn't be easy. Researching of the special outdoor photoshoot locations. Not that the bridal studio do not cater to, but it'd be better for myself to have mindset on which locations i want first hand.

=( I'll be living like a nomad too for the next couple of mths.. Except that i'll have a concrete roof over my head. Oh well. Gonna get busy soon with the packing of stuff and moving. Totally ongoing with the fitting and the photoshoot as well. Great.

Not really feeling super stressed but rather a 'take one step at a time' kinda pace. Not too panicky, yet cannot afford to be laid-back. =( I'm just not exactly feeling really happy right now. Though i'm really excited and really looking forward to seeing my engraved wedding bands.

Oh well. Resigned? Jaded? Or simply just sian? I've no idea what to feel.....

Started on my new job. Though i have plenty of time on my hands during work to use my laptop, i merely just played plenty of games and also watched series on it instead of blogging. Alot of events which i wanna record down in this blog but haven't gotten down to doing it. Sorry... no feel haha`

Last Saturday, Dan and i had plenty of fun the whole freaking day! Basically Saturday's my only day off. And apart from that, i work 6 days per week, either 9 am to 6pm slot or 12pm to 9pm slot. And so my last day off, Dan and i woke up early and went down to Ubi to visit the wedding invitation cards manufacturer.

Finished off the appointment in a short timing of 15 minutes. Thus they gonna be doing our layout, and printing it after we've approve. =) Sweet and we can just keep it aside to collect dust hehe` At least a task has been checked.

We then met up with the rest of my family at Marina Bay Sands for buffet lunch at Rise. My second sister in-law's mother and also my mum's best friend also joined us, so there was total 8 of us. Lovely company, great food ^^

Walked around the mall after lunch and they headed back home while i went to dan's place to rest for a couple of hours. Decided to go prawning at 9pm, this time to Bishan instead of east coast. Ronald and Rachel joined us too an hour after we started prawning. Felt amazing and super happy to hear that she's preggie! =)))))))) Hit our record breaking high of 1kg of prawns! =)))) With 4 prawns complimentary from this guy who didn't want them. hee` Super shiok this time cuz we just kept getting them hooked all the time.

Finally went back home at about 1+ am with dan coming over to bunk at my place for the night. Great day, but ended on a bad note cuz i found mum crying.

Apparently Chris is selling the flat that we're currently staying in. Reason is that he's gotten quite sick of the condition our flat is in cuz it's rather old, like the pipes and all. And so, he has decided to sell it now before July. And from July onwards, HDB will have a new scheme whereby COV (cash over valuation) is eliminated, and the owners of the flat will just sell their flat according to the quotation given and cannot ask for extra cash.

So Chris' plan is to sell the flat now, then we'll rent a place for a couple of months followed by either getting a brand new flat (balance of those ballots) or just simply getting a resale flat. We'll also stand to gain at least 50k from this change as well.

And therefore, on Saturday morning, a potential buyer came over to check out our place and she really liked it and even offered a very high price for it. So mum was rather sad. Which definitely cuz she's very reluctant to leave this place as she had alot of friends in this area.

And one more thing is that she's also very apprehensive. Cuz she doesn't know where we're heading to after this. Where is the rented flat gonna be, and also where is our future home gonna be? Which is rather sad as it wouldn't be easy for her, as an elderly person to adapt to a new environment all over again. =( Well i didn't know how to console her on Saturday after i reached home and just left her to calm herself down.

And when i was prawning, she called me and told me that she really miss me. But we've only left each other's company for like half a day. And that made me feel really warm and fuzzy inside but i also wondered how come she's feeling lonely suddenly.

Last night Chris and i sat down to talk to her for a couple of hours, not really about this change, but about some other matters. And im truly glad, tt she's able to smile and speak freely again. instead of pulling a long face. Mummy i love u, and i really treasure you.

It's so funny, i just have to post it =)

Saturday's Date

Started on my new job last Tuesday. And having only a day off in a week which is currently Saturday, it's very precious to me. =) Since i've been nua-ing in the shop the whole week and did nothing except reading novel and newspaper, sleep and watch series, i've decided to head out in my day off!!

Hung out at Epicurious and had brunch under the tree hehe` Ordered the usuals.

After the very full brunch, we headed to Cineleisure to catch a movie - Just go with it. Extremely great relaxing movie on a weekend! Totally worth it. Had milkshake from OUAM before heading down to ION to get our wedding bands.

Did browsing of weddings bands since half a year ago, therefore we know what we want exactly. Walked around Love n Co and decided to still get the pair of wedding bands that we first had our eyes on and have so much feel for it even until now. It's their signature bands =) Wheeeeeeee` Paid up and now only waiting to collect it come April before we can send it for engraving. So excited!

The next day, i went to the shop and stayed in alone from 9am till 6pm. Firstly dan dropped by with breakfast from coffee bean and chatted with me for a while. After which my mum came and sat in the shop for a couple of hours. =)) Thanks for their company!! Totally didn't feel lonely at all hehe` But of course i have my trusty laptop with me.

Dan went back home to avoid the hefty carpark fees and came back to pick me after from work. He surprised me with a bouquet of red roses when he dropped by the shop again. =) Cute. Didn't expect it cuz it's been a long time since i've told him not to give me any flowers. But, a pleasant surprise =)

Gotten yusheng from Tang Court (which i learnt that it's a very expensive restaurant) and also chilli crab and headed back to dan's place for dinner with his family ^^ Time well spent. =)

V day yesterday was nothing much. Had Yong Tau Foo for dinner with dan at our favorite place in Jalan Besar. Packed some home for my parents as well so yup, was home at 7.30pm.

Feeling rather appreciated and happy right now. =) And after nuaing for the whole day, im knocking off in 15 min time!

Was feeling real pissed off by Dan on New Year Day. Had shabu shabu with his friends at Central but it was really feeling not contented cuz his friends ate too fast.. so we ended up being really full, but tak shiok. =( Got ditched shortly after early dinner. -.-

Went out again to meet up with JY outside St James at about 12 midnight. Went into Boiler's and ordered ourselves a jug of vodka redbull (i actually just typed vodbull -.- ) and also 2 jarger bombs. Danced ourselves silly in Powerhouse and got approached by some small boys lol`

Coincidence tt we were both wearing polka dots! =X Really, unintentionally. hmmmmm`

Really enjoyed ourselves as we finished it off with a really mellowed heart to heart talk. Girlfriends unite!

Which is very very true. hehe` Recently (31st DEC 2010) Dan and i went to Orchard for a great shopping trip! =)) Shopping really gets me all excited. haha` Main motive was to get clothes for CNY.

Stayed in ION for a couple of hours. I've gotten 2 pairs of heels, a dress from Stradivarius (dan insisted to pay for it), a pink shirt from G2000 and also 2 pairs of knickers from Topshop hee`

Sweet. And i've also psychoed dan to get 2 pairs of jeans for himself from FOX. wheeeeeeee I'm so proud of myself. Had lunch in one of the restaurants which i can't remember the name or which i don't bother to remember. Had sukiyaki which wasn't to our liking. =( Cuz we didn't like the too-sweet taste of the sauce which was used to cook the meat in.

We had wagyu beef and kurobuta pork, very average =(

After lunch, we bought chocolate from Royce and headed back to his place to relax.

Went back out again for dinner with his family, this time at Lao Beijing at Novena Square. Really had some good food together with his cousin and aunt as well.

Drove over to a friend's place at River Valley and stayed there to countdown along the roadside cuz we didn't know where to go -.- LOL First thing we did after we countdown to the new year was to head down to Yishun to visit our future home. Yay! 2 more storeys up! Can't wait for it to be ready =)

So yup, there goes our new year's countdown.

Daniel's Big 3

This is the surprise that i've thrown Daniel on his 30th Birthday last month, 11th DEC 2010. Of course not the whole building. But this was the hotel which i've booked a room for on this very special day. =) And of course he doesn't know that i've even prepared a night's stay.

It started off in the morning when i've texted Dan and told him to prepare an overnight bag. Met up with him in AMK train station and headed to orchard for lunch first. He chose to have it at Ippudo, after given a variety of choices.

So we had lunch at Ippudo, which was his first time. And i must say, i never fail to be blown away by their number 14 ramen. =))))))

Chose Wangz Hotel as it's a boutique hotel, and i'm a sucker for boutique hotels cuz of the quirky designs. hehehe` Checked in at the small hotel and we totally love our room!!!! Rain shower, super comfy bed and a pillow menu, free drinks from the minibar. =)

Really chilled out and relax at the bar, totally enjoyed ourselves. While dan went to a corner to smoke, i order a waterfall for him. =)

Haven't blogged the whole of December. Filled with quarrels and cold war with boyfriend, or so call fiance. Every time i feel happy and have the mood to blog about our dates/outings, we'd end up quarreling. Hate December so much. Though I really can't wait for it to come in November...

As the saying goes, if you expect too much, disappointments will surely arise. And it sure did. Or if you really love someone so much, it'll prolly hurt alot when an argument is exchanged.

Was looking forward to really enjoying my christmas and new year countdown. yet they ended up being really boring. And i really did waste my AL for these couple of days, if i hadn't tried to salvage it. Yes, i blocked leave since MARCH this year, for disappointment. Please tell me i'm stupid cuz i got ditched for some other last minute plans. Ha, what a joke. Cuz why? I still ended up in hot tears even after i got home. I can only say, i feel rather fucked up. Get me out of the way so that you can carry on what you like to do.

I shall not shall not shall not reserve my non-working weekends solely for you anymore. =(

Maybe i should go be a police officer. hehehe` Suddenly this thought came across my mind when i was in Shenzhen last night. Shenzhen really isn't for me. My last 'happening' flight also happened to be SZX (Shenzhen) and last night, a Singaporean pax smoked onboard in the lavatory.

Please lar, don't be stupid. How many announcement have been made in English and Mandarin to tell u that this is a (bloody) non-smoking flight. And inside all of the lavatories, there's English and Mandarin words to tell you that you'll be prosecuted under Singapore law if caught smoking. There's even the sign of a ciggie with the red strike across it for GOONDOOS to see... -.-

And so i caught a pax smoking onboard and gotten his passport. Didn't give him face at all and gotten captain to issue warning letter which will bar him from the rest of his flights left in his itinerary and for the next 2 yrs. Whooooooo hoooooooooo, oh how i love to do it. Karma karma. =) That's the price to pay for endangering the lives of the people onboard huh.

And so, when he disembarked the aircraft, he said to me in Mandarin "You're really the most merciless person i've ever seen". Yes i am sir, this is the bloody 8th time in my entire 4 yrs in TR i've caught a person smoking onboard. So yup, i do wish this was Singapore and not China, else the police will meet with u on ground. stupid sonofabitch.

I hate SZX.

Weekend was great! Had dinner at Dan's place on Friday and Saturday after my flight. On Saturday afternoon, dan brought me to the Carl's Jr in East Coast and settled his craving for their beef burger. And on Sunday, Dan and i settled my craving of mee hoon kway at Toa Payoh. hee` Headed down to AMK central to shop after that. This is the first time after almost 4 yrs that i actually see baby getting something for himself. YES, it's true. He totally doesn't shop. And he's just gotten a pair of nice sandals for himself. =) lalala im feeling happy hehe`

I'm feeling really angry now, after i've woken up and im well rested. I'm so angry i cried because how could someone, after inhumanely opened an aircraft door when it's still cruising, be in the right mind to fucking write in to the press? So what you're a managing director of some company? You're a NUTCASE fullstop

Now, i do not care if i might get implicated at all, i'm gonna just publish all of my details regarding the flight. And do take note, since i'm a CIC (crew in-charge), i'm the one who's the most involved.

Details of the scenario all true. Here goes:

Flight TR 2953 took off from Shenzhen Baoan Intl Airport at 0010 HRS. Boarding was completely normal.

One hour into the flight, the pax walked to AFT Galley after we're done with F & B Service and approached us. He asked me where his friend was as he/she was supposed to sit at 18F. So i told him he could look around in the cabin as his friend must have definitely take a change of seats. He then was jittery and asked me the same question again. After which I told the pax not to worry as we'll not leave any passenger behind in Shenzhen.

I then advised the rest of my crew and told them to keep an eye on the passenger, who has a big build body. My colleague then sat in FWD Galley till about 2:30AM, meanwhile taking turns to check on the passengers in the cabin. At 2:30 AM FA1 and myself were in the AFT Galley, preparing to count the carts and also serving random passengers' drinks' orders.

At 2:45 AM, we were alerted by the call bell at Row 4 left, and my colleague was the first to attend to the call bell. Subsequently, there were more call bells pressed from the same row and also row 6. So I ran all the way to the forward upon hearing people called for help. And in the forward zone of the cabin, i've heard passengers shouting for help again and telling me that somebody has opened the door. I quickly rushed to my door and found that the door control handle was fully in the open position and door was disarmed as well.

My first reaction was to quickly move the lever to the close position and armed my slide, meanwhile I checked the FAP as well for the 'armed' indication. Almost immediately, Captain called me in the FWD Galley and asked me to fill him in on the details regarding their signal on the door opening and disarming.

I then confronted the above mentioned passenger, who was pointed out to me by the rest of passengers (About 10 of them standing up) and gotten hold of his passport. He was standing in front of his own seat and appeared to be very calm and not violent. He then passed me his passport after saying 'Why should i give you my passport?"

All the conversations with him were in Mandarin. And by that time, all the passengers in Row 1 namely Seats A, D, E and F have all shifted somewhere else. I did not take down any passenger's names who could be the witness for this case, but I remember this passenger who was travelling with his family and was seated at 2 D, E and F. He was on my flight on 19th NOV 2011 TR 2952 and seated at the same row. He would be able to illustrate the scenario.

After which my colleague stood by in fwd galley and kept an eye on the pax while I headed into the cockpit to talk to the Captain. Told captain everything and was ensured that my door is in good working order. Captain issued pax FINAL WARNING LETTER, kept his passport and informed the authorities and meet the pax on ground.

The pax was calm throughout the rest of the flight and was seated down but he kept mumbling to himself, and sometimes got rather loud but we couldn't hear what he was saying. When the seat belt sign was on and we're conducting the cabin check, i told him that he needs to be fastened for landing. And he replied "We're landing already? But we haven't even take off!" And he appeared to be very very restless and was jittery again.

Our eyes were on him during landing, just in case he were to attempt to open any of our doors again. And he seemed really restless and nervous as he kept swallowing his saliva and his eyes kept looking everywhere. Finally when we've landed and the aircraft was parked, I passed him the Final Warning Letter. Reason is that I was afraid he would become unruly if I were to issue him the letter immediately while cruising.

Pax was then escorted down by the policeman and first to disembark the aircraft. His passport was also handed over to the policeman. I feel that the pax might be claustrophobic and might not be fit to fly. He was talking to the policemen and mentioned that he's driven by alot of stress from his work and his family.

And so, that's the end of my report. I've actually been woken up at 11am from my sleep (got home at 6:30am) by a call from the office. Telling me to submit a report immediately via email as the passenger who was mentioned in this report, wrote in to the press. Can you fucking believe it?

Let's talk about the consequences of his actions. Firstly, it's taken very seriously as he's endangering the safety of aircraft. Luckily we're still cruising at 35 000 feet above sea level, therefore the pressure difference is too big. Even if he used his full strength he still wouldn't be able to open it. BUT if we're at lower altitude when we're descending, the door would be able to open and we'll definitely undergo DECOMPRESSION. That'll be when the cabin temperature will be very cold as the air will seep in, and that the oxygen levels will become very very thin. Of course not forgetting he'll be the first to say bye to the world.

AND.... Should the door be disarmed, it's poses ANOTHER problem. One main door will be down and cannot be used for evacuation on ground. Our 4 main doors are used for evacuation as it actually has got slide rafts fixed onto it, and it must be armed all the way after door close to before normal door opening.

After the aircraft touched down and was parked, I made the policeman come into the cabin to get him. Yes, call me mean but I want to embarrass him. As simple as that. You shouldn't feel shameful at all since u're macho enough to attempt to open the door? Really, sonofabitch. I hope the other worried passengers will write in to the press as well.

Meanwhile, no matter what, it's a Singapore registered aircraft, so definitely we'll follow Singapore Law. So hey Malaysian, enjoy your time in Singapore.

Last wednesday, I was off on a PH again!! =) Made reservations at Carousel for High Tea for dan and i. Been wanting to bring him there cuz i want him to try the food. We really did have fun. Spent 2 hours there for high tea.

Walked around the place for a while before we went back to his place for the rest of the night. Watched a couple of movies, relaxed and headed back home. Nice nice day off. ^^

Liqin's 26th Birthday celebration

Last Saturday, the group met up for dinner together at Vivo's Bosses Restaurant. People present were total 4 couples, ron and rach, me and dan, liqin and bam and also mx and maureen. None of us drove down cuz we wanna enjoy ourselves and drink after that.

Supposed to start dinner at 7.30 PM, ended up we only started at about 8pm. While waiting for Ronald and Rachel, we ordered some drinks and starters..

Sadly i've only taken these couple of pictures during dinner cuz all of us were hungry and i didn't wanna make them wait while i take some shots.. Paiseh... Ordered alot of dishes like seafood tofu, lobster soup, steamed prawns, fried prawns with wasabi and salted egg yolk sauce, black pepper beef, honeyed pork ribs and xiao long bao. I'm sure there are a couple of others i've missed out lol`

Had dessert after tt too. =) Totally enjoyed the dinner. Bill came up to about 400 for the 8 of us. Foot by ah bam, liqin's boyfriend.

So for the rest of the night, we went down to St James Boiler Room to drink. Cuz of that, i became a member of St James. Paid 225 bucks for the membership, consists of a bot of Henessy and a champagne. So in total technically only 6 of us cuz maureen doesn't drink and ah bam didn't drink much. We finished 2 bottles of hennesy, 1 bot of martell and a champagne. -.- Crazy people..

And so we really did have fun! Been a long time since we went out for dinner and drinks in a big group. Dan came over to my place to sleep after that. Was quite emo when we woke back up at 6+am cuz he found that i had a giant bruise on my right knee... And he was so sure i hurt myself because of him as he was totally gone. Partly true, the bruise came from me plopping my body on my knees to sooth him while he was throwing up by the roadside heh`

Never ever had a guy who cried for me, in front of me. It really did touched me. It meant that he's comfortable showing his weakness in front of me cuz we're so close together. =) And the main reason is cuz he's having a heartache cuz im hurt because of him. Sweet.

And so the rest of the day was spent nua-ing at home, getting lunch and dinner. haha`

Next day i operated a flight and dan picked me up from the airport. Headed for supper at our favorite Yong Tau Foo place!!!

Dinner with the girls on Tuesday 16th November. Sandy suggested long time ago for us to try having the Korean food at this restaurant opposite Haw Par Villa, in YESS Centre.

FINALLY, we've decided to give it a try hehehe` Met up with 3 of them in Vivo at about 6:30pm and took a bus down to the restaurant. Very authentic i must say, waitresses speaking fluent Korean and we've spotted a couple of Korean families having dinner there too. hmmmmmm`

Very nice BBQ meat, but rather pricey, totally shouldn't order the sides like seafood pancake, ginseng chicken soup and Japchae, rather average and totally filled us up.

Stayed in the restaurant till 10pm before we head out and went to Coffeebean @ Vivo to sit down and chat..

=) Stayed there for quite a while and grilled our bestie before we left for the next venue - Mac at Harbourfront centre.

Chatted all the way till 3+am and finally decided to head back home. hehehe` Total total fun!

A week has passed now, i'm still very happy for Jingyun. =))) She's attached with her first boyfriend, for about 2 wks now. ^^ Truly excited for her. Cuz my girls all deserve someone to dote on them!

Felt really happy, the gush of happiness while talking to one of my colleague just now on FB. She's a sister whom i look up to, ex crew of SQ, very motherly. Introduced me to Proactiv, the bestselling acne skincare in US.

Been motivating me much with regards to it. Not many people whom i can talk to who has had the same problem. Naturally they'd understand the best.

This was a message she left me with towards the end of our convo:

She's such a nice person with a great character, haha can be my momma too. =)

Went to Sentosa on 28th OCT for Halloween Party at USS. Only starting at 8pm and we were early, therefore we laid down outside the sitting area and played Sudoku. haha` Dan has this folder in his iphone which he named 'Miss Tan Games', and so he downloads games tt he knows i'll like and place them in there. lol`

Went to Candylicious to while our time away.

Queued outside USS. Tics cost 38 per person for us who's got Annual Funpass. ^^

Dark all the way thru except for a teeny weeny bit of light. As we walk towards the Hollywood area, we were served finger food like fried spring roll, cheese balls and cotton candy =) Quickly went to claim our free souvenir bottle which comes with coke before the queue gets any longer.

OCT 21st which was a Thursday, i met up with the girls in the afternoon. First with Yixian Sandy. Met up with them at Raffles City where we went shopping for a while and settled our lunch at Fruit Paradise.

Yixian ordered the tart set for herself and sandy and i shared 2 curry rice set which one comes with a tart so we could share.

Went out with Jingyun last monday for dinner and post-dinner chat. =D

Was supposed to meet up with yixian as well but she bailed out on us and only told us that she's out of town last minute -.- Went ahead with the plan and met up with JY in town at 7pm. Decided to have our dinner in Tampopo cuz i was tempted to try out their tonkotsu ramen after reading thru a food blog. =X

Wanted so much to report sick today but didn't. Really detest working with this captain, but must drag myself to work to show my professionalism and not to waste my money on feigning sick.

Pleasant flight but boring passengers who're not jovial at all.. Great set of crew and sarcastic-bloody-captain didn't give me any problems.

Waited an hour for uncle robert to come and fetch us home =(((( BTW he's a cab driver who fetch TR crew alot. And then there was this extremely WEIRD guy who gave us goosebumps but totally cracked up up. He was pushing along his trolley full of luggage towards the 3 of us, then kept staring weirdly at us.

Then, he stood RIGHT IN FRONT of us and blatantly stared at us. omg. Damn uncomfortable. -.- We kept laughing non stop cuz he really cracked us up. He then proceeded to sit beside me... ARGH totally felt like my modesty got outraged. blah`Still, he kept staring at us when he was sitting beside me. YUCKS. After he finally realized we're not interested in him, he moved away....

GROSS. Had supper with Uncle Robert and one of my colleagues Kiran at Changi Road. First time trying the food there and instantly love it! Kiran and i had pig kidney and liver and pork mee sua while Uncle robert had their herbal chicken soup. Lovely! =)) Definitely going back there again. ha`

I've had a great Diwali holiday! =)))))))))) *grinZ*

Started off with novel reading the whole early afternoon till about 3 pm before i went out with dan. Had late lunch at Jalan Besar vicinity, our favorite lor mee with lovely lala =)) After the sumptuous lunch we headed off to Liang Court to shop in the supermart.

Bought some Jap snacks and very nice ginger ale. Tried this really good Sweet potato with chestnut gelato as well ^^ Fantastic!

Went back to dan's place and watch some series together. Enjoyed the grilled sotong we've gotten from the supermart as well as very nice cream puff from Tampopo and also wagyu beef ball. Spent some time together and decided to go for a movie with Ron and Rachel.

Met up at Yishun at about 8.30pm and caught 'Due Date'. Very very entertaining, couldn't stop laughing from the start till the end. And it's funny tt at the same time again, dan and i did the same action to each other and we ended up having a fake fight in the cinema haha`

Rather touched as well cuz i told him about the emergency landing yesterday of Qantas A380 in Changi which caused us a huge delay due to only 1 runway operation. Suggested to him tt i shld get a bike license since we're gonna be staying in a rather ulu part of yishun.. But he objected vehemently =( Saying tt i'm already holding a very risky job and now i wanna get a bike license knowing how much he hates bike riders cuz it's dangerous.. Oh well.

I've had a fruitful and happy day! One of the best dates with dan i must say. Even now i'm still grinning from ear to ear. hee`

Started off with me really tempted to go catch a movie. And then i really thought of catching 2 today cuz there's so many movies which i wanna catch. Ended up dan picked me up and we went to AMK hub. Free parking today too, so yay Sunday!

Watched Child's Eye at 3pm cuz im a horror flick crazy. By recommendation of Chris and it really sucks. Find it so boring and draggy, blah. But im loving the blanket which i brought to the freezing cinema. Love Cathay AMK, only con is that it's much too cold in there.

Had our dinner after the show and walked around the mall. Bought tickets to You Again at 7.45 pm and yet another popcorn set. ^^ Enjoyed this movie alot more. ^^ Chick flick haha i like it too! It was a truly fun movie marathon with dan.

Last night was our virgin dining experience at Wendy's in Northpoint. Haven't visit the new mall after it has gone thru renovation. Such a huge place now ^^ Wendy's nothing to rave about, but beef burgers are alot nicer than Mac's. Fried chicken's boring and fries' King still belongs to popeye and LJS i feel. =D Gotten 2 novels from Popular as well. =) Headed back home to rest thereafter.

I'm feeling real glad.

Spent the whole of yesterday with Dan. Woke up early and reached the airport at 9.30am, this time at Terminal 1 to pick him up. He went for a company trip to KL for a day to meet up with his KL counterparts and have fun together. Though lodging was at very nice Hilton Hotel, they didn't managed to get any rest cuz was busy playing soccer, singing K and drinking. ha`

And so the flight touched down at 9.41am. With me standing in front of the belt with a cup of hazelnut latte. While waiting for him, strangely enough, i found myself sipping my drink slowly and fidgeting with the cup non stop. I actually felt nervous. But weird that i'd feel this way. And one point of time so nervous about seeing dan that i was almost close to tears. Really not drama mama, but it's strangely true.

I think i'm still very in love with him. =) That's my conclusion. I'm nervous when i'm about to meet him and my heart still beats so fast. ahhhh =D

I think it's nice that i've found someone who can understand so much about my work environment too. We brainstormed on ideas regarding the new retort meals service that we have on board on how to go about doing it so that our service will be much faster and effective. And i'm gonna try our our best and new idea tomorrow. ^^

Back to yesterday. He was real glad i actually did went to the airport to pick him up ^^ Cuz i came back home late from a wedding dinner on saturday night. Headed back to his place while he got some rest. Sent his aunt to his parents' shop before going to Marina Square for brunch at 4am. Ate in Mr Curry but i dislike the leading server/manager's attitude. Really trying to hard sell me some more food when we only wanted 2 main courses. Irritating.

Daniel ordered Hamburg Red Spicy curry which was not bad at all! Have always love jap hamburg ^^

I had Beef Black Spicy curry which looks totally unappetizing, or worst inedible. hehe` But it's not too bad though i'd prefer the other type of curry hee` Dan prefers mine though.

And i've discovered a very ironic yet true analogy. You hold your boyfriend's hand and walked along the streets, he's looking at other women which is a very natural thing. And then other men gaze at you. It's a whole normal cycle yet very ironic. No wonder people say, if someone's not your cup of tea, he/she might be someone's else's treasure. =) But all i can say is that majority of the ladies are normally looking generally at people, and not just men. =) Yet men normally just give their attention to the ladies.

Today's flight wasn't delayed at all, but it definitely wasn't fun at all...

Whole set of new crew today which i haven't flown with at all before, and only met 1 out of 3 of them in the briefing room before today. 2 of them from the latest batch who's only into their second and third solo flight. But for me, i do not care if you're senior or not, even if you're slow, as long as your attitude's good, you could go very far.

Other than those 2 new ladies from the latest batches, there was this another guy on my flight today who's only 19 years old, only 2 batches their senior. But... he's still a boy, definitely different from the men that we have in the company. =(( Not so gentlemen, rather slow and erm 'soft' in his work and behavior. hai.... I want a 'MAN' man, i don't want a 'gentle' man. =(((

Not so fun flight. And it's not even nice to have to scold crew or point out their mistakes when they're 5 years older than you. But, sorry i have to do this cuz i'm in charge here. Otherwise you might get a worst off treatment with the other fiercer/mood-swingy cabin crew in-charge.

I can only say, some people are just not as initiative and really don't focus much when working.

Especially when he works only during the weekdays. hehe` Last weekend was spent with Dan as well. Saturday after my flight we headed to AMK central for early dinner at S-11. It was then followed by shopping at this wedding theme shop in Jubilee. Nice that they're a one stop service center where they cater to different 过大礼 packages.

Went to try out dessert at this new place in Jubilee as well and totally regret ordering mine hehe`

The next day we wanted to have brunch on a Sunday morning but ended up turning out into Toa Payoh cuz there was a huge jam and we were really hungry. =(

Had our lunch settled in Crystal Jade where we ordered very very very nice food! But I'm never gonna order their Hot & Sour La mian again cuz they've changed their recipe. Now it's more spicy and not even sour, yucks.

Friday night, dan took me out to dinner at The French Stall. It's actually in a coffeeshop but serving french food. Not too bad, but too 'atas' for us. Cuz with the kind of price we should actually be sitting in a restaurant instead.

Dan ordered a Pork Loin set which comes with soup of the day and a dessert.

Carrot soup which totally grossed us out. Not a fan of it.

Half a dozen of escargots which was very nice but surprised that it wasn't served in their shells. hmmmmm =)

Finished off with dan's dessert which we topped up money for - Special Chocolate Cake.

Looks lousy but it's actually quite good cuz it's very moist. ^^

Yesterday which was Saturday, I met up with Dan in the train and we headed down to Orchard. Good thing about going to town with the public transport is that we don't need to fret where to park his big van, and we can spend the whole day in town without being shocked at how much the car parking will cost us at the end of the day.

Bought our breakfast at Bread Society and walked over to Orchard Parade Hotel as we devoured our breakfast =))) Met up with Cornelius as he explained to us certain things regarding our banquet package and showed us the ballroom as well. Small but adequate for us. Deco and stage doesn't seem extravagant but foodwise we can be sure that it'll be good since it'll be catered by Tung Lok.

Surprise surprise that they don't charge for service with regards to our package, which is a damn good deal for us. Only thing which i feel is that we can do alot more to the deco of the whole area. And im not really keen on the only ivory colored chair covers that they have. hmmmmmmm` But i'm really glad though. With the amount of money that we've saved from the service charge, it could come to good use elsewhere. ^^

And so, we're gonna wait till the wedding show before we confirm our booking with them to enjoy more perks! ^^

After which we went down to ION for some bites. Tried to find back the beef noodles which jinwei and i tried but they've closed down? Had some Gindaco octopus balls instead and i love them! ^^ hahaha

Went to Wisma for somemore food after that. Had our all-time favorite 牛肉刀削面 in Food Republic. Very very good and value for money. Shared a bowl cuz it's super huge.

Walked around aimlessly for a while.. Bought 2 Adidas jackets from a sale in CentrePoint. It was hilarious. Dan and i found this jacket which we both like alot. Almost wanted to get it but there's only a smaller size left =( It had a few strings to be latched at different sides of the jacket, and i forgot what we were talking about and i said out loud "Bondage!" then he laughed like crazy and so did a couple of random people. Then this salesman said 'oh it's ok i won't tell anyone' hahaha Paiseh.

Ended up watching a movie in PS - I love you Phillip Morris. hahah lovely show but no i wouldn't wanna go catch a movie in GV anymore cuz their popcorn is lousy and expensive. =(

Headed home after that. Great great day!!!

Today happened to be one of those days which really hit me that my face is hideous. =(((

After i tried to cover my teenage pimply face with make-up and it still didn't really work much for me today, i decided to report sick for my flight 2 hours before. =( Sorry for whoever who was activated. Hai`

It's like the bacteria causing them are ultra resistant!! Even the anti biotic which i've been taking. And also Cindamycin lotion which Raffles gave me. God knows when i'll recover. I know it will, eventually. But when? I'm so losing patience.............

The whole process is just so disheartening sometimes and very very painful. Truthfully no one would really know the kinda pain people with acne is going thru. Washing face is painful and so is the toweling of the face. Not forgetting even the squeezing of pimples at the facial salon. That's no big deal to me already. Cuz the worst was when the lady put some sort of solution on my face which makes it super unbearable and i didn't have a choice i just had to endure. It was ultimatum, the mixture of pain and itch.

And so, today i'm on my lowest self esteem/confidence level. I'd rather forgo the wage which i'll be getting on my flight today and fork out money to fake an mc instead. =( Spent an extra $30 on groceries, which cheered myself up a little, and cut my hair short, again.

It's the monday blues. please please go away, pimples, go away too... I wanna rediscover myself, and be truly happy again. Who cares when ppl says appearance is not important, it's definitely not true.

Extravagant dinner

Had dinner with dan's family last night at Boon Tong Kee @ Balestier Road. Ordered 盆菜 for the 9 of us. It's my first time trying it and i really do love it!

The waitress told us to start eating from the prawns, followed by abalone and the rest. It's really delicious! Other than prawns and abalone, it consists of duck meat, white radish with dried scallop, sea cucumber, fish maw, brocolli and white cabbage, dried oyster and fa zai wrapped in pig's skin, chicken feet and also huge siew mai. ^^

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee` It's really nice!! Just this huge pot can feed the 9 of us le. Super full after tt. Gotten 2 boxes of Haagen Dazs Ice cream mooncake, one for his family and one for mine.

Feeling happy now cuz i've got a task off my mind. And so it should be Orchard Parade Hotel cuz the food is catered by Tung Lok Classics.

I can't wait!

Whoever says that the process of wedding planning is fun should be shot.

I don't think it's fun, at least not the searching for an event venue part. Just realized couple of days ago that i've started out too late. Whoever have got experience would start one and a half yrs before the actual date. Now, it's totally killing me, softly.

I cannot cannot find a nice venue for our date in Dec next yr. And the one which i really like, is so bloody expensive - Fairmont Singapore. FML

I'm hating this process now. And how i wish im bloody rich enuff to hire someone who can help me handle this whole process of liaising with the various places.

Had dinner with my family last night at downstairs zi char coffeeshop as well. Dad's treat. I can say it has never happened before cuz dad's not a generous man. Always been my mum's treat when we were younger, and now chris' or my treat usually. hee But dad's won 4k from 4d recently therefore it's his treat ^^

It was a great dinner, ordered my favorite fish steamboat, butter crabs and mushroom kailan.

Continuation from the last random short post. Yes now i definitely feel that it's true. Originally, it says tt there's no ugly women in the world except lazy women. But then again, if women doesn't have money, they wouldn't be able to afford skincare/make-up products or clothes or whatsoever for packaging.

Well it all comes with age i guess. Once u're rather financially independent u take care of ur packaging as well. Bullshit about 'what matters is the inside and not the outside' saying. If someone looks like a beggar off the streets, would u consider going out with him/her? I believe someone must be at least an average and clean look before you'd go out with him/her to get to know his/her heart. Fair enough? Therefore first impressions DO matter.

Have paid off the rest of my facial sessions and as well as 2 bots of skincare products. I would like to think i'm not cheated hahahhaha so please don't tell me otherwise lol` Total spent is about $1170. Blah` Please, let it work. After my 2nd session last friday, i've endured so much pain cuz of the detoxing process using their products. But i must endure!!! Still detoxing process now, so all the impurities are out of my skin. But i feel that the pimples are not as big and swollen anymore as before i went for facial session.

I think im a little bit happier now as well. ^^

The weekend 2 weeks back was damn awesome! (21st & 22nd Aug) Went down to dan's place for dinner on saturday night cuz it was his dad's birthday. Had a great feast and everyone was happy. ^^ I like dinners with his family, cuz dinner with my family all together just got rarer and not so fun and happy anymore.

The next day, we went to Sentosa at about 2pm via Vivocity. Parked the van beside Seah Im Food centre. Had lunch there and proceeded to Vivo to jalan jalan. Headed to Universal studios after that and spent 2 hours there. Very warm weather but we totally enjoyed ourselves cuz there weren't too many people.

Went to see the Voyage de la Vie next and it was breathtaking! One act after another just got better and even more exciting. Dan and i both agreed the girl on the bike was the not so exciting one. Really a not to be missed show! Feels like watching the Cirque du Soleil so much! There's something about these whimsical acts that enthralls me, alot! =))))))))

Decided to head down to Marina Square for dinner after the show so that i could change some coins for flight as well. =) Had dinner at Imperial Treasure and dan enjoyed his hot and sour la mian alot! My all time favorite too. Caught my favorite character cinamonroll! muahahhahah`Suddenly we're quite good at catching masak again.

Last wednesday 25th Aug, i met up with a couple of ex colleagues for dinner in Orchard. We used to be meet out for good food last time but after Yixin went back to China and Kaili resigned and start flying with Silkair now, we haven't met out together. Now that Yixin's back in SG to study, we've got plenty of time!

Met up with the 2 of them in Orchard and decided to go to Fish n Co at Paragon cuz i've heard many people raved about tt particular outlet. And turned out omg, i love their prawns!!! GIRLFRIENDS, let's go there one day. ^^

Boarded TR 2182 to Krabi on 5th July. Started our 5 nights holiday. Numerous times to Phuket but it's our first trip to Krabi. Dan and i were both super excited. Especially when i've specially found a nice place for our lodging thru special recommendations by some of the tech crew.

We had lunch first at Mac before heading into terminal for shopping.

Dan's mega mac consists of 5 beef patties lol` Quite gross cuz the beef can be rather tasteless and boring..

Well lined up long tail boats.

We didn't take transfer to our hotel cuz it's super ex. Costing 1500 THB which is more than 60 bucks. Therefore we saved it for going to the airport and catching the plane on our last day. Had to take the bus from the airport to Ao Nang Beach which cost only 150 THB and then a short longtail boat ride which cost only 100 THB. Total journey only took us about an hour.

This place call Railay Beach, totally recommended by all the ang moh pilots we have was awesome. It's cut off from the rest of the krabi island due to its limestone cliffs. Therefore it can only be reached by boat. It's a perfect getaway. Definitely quiet and peaceful.

Managed to find our resort and felt rather welcomed by this. =))) Though they've spelt my surname wrongly. hahaha`

We've booked their Tropical Villa Plus Suite, which is a standalone villa by itself. Cool or what.

Started off with elephant trekking. The seat which we had to climb onto. I really hate the elephant ride. =( cuz i feel tt it's super inhumane.

After elephant trekking, our program was followed by 5km of white water rafting. Super great adrenaline rush. Love it so much totally. Would kill to go for it again.

4th day

Started off the day with our full day tour! Met up with rest of the tour group people and boarded the speedboat. Set off on our Phi Phi Island Tour.

This is the Viking Cave where the native inside will kill any intruders cuz they rear birds' nest inside.

Monkey Beach

Open sea snorkeling which i had to try! Even though there were plenty of HUGEASS jellyfish.
Still i'll never give up this chance! Dan and i got stung by jellyfish at the first snorkeling site as did plenty of others. Damn painful and the pain won't go away but it's not fatal.

5th Day

Last full day on the island and we wanna take it slow after 2 days of damn fun but strenuous activities. =)) Decided to go kayaking around and relaxing. Borrowed squid bait from our resort's tour office hehehehheeh Didn't manage to catch any though =((((

Found this part of Railay and really had fun!!! Spent hours there before we kayak back to Railay West.

The next day, we woke up very early and headed to the airport to catch our flight back. =)

I'm a first timer in many of the things we've done in Krabi, including ele trekking, snorkeling and white water rafting. They've all been great fun and I've totally enjoyed the 6 days holiday i've had in Krabi with dan. Would definitely wanna go back and do all these again!

Was listening to Katherine Mcphee's new album. Really lovely songs she compiled together and really tugs at the corners of the heart. Was planning to blog but been pretty lazy.

Still fighting the war against my pimples, religiously using the cream the lady has given me. Will be going for my 2nd facial session next week.

Realized something recently. I feel the lack of confidence in me nowadays. No longer having the zest to really talk to people cuz I don't feel comfortable with ppl staring at me cuz of my pimples. Even pre-flight briefings to my crew is very short as well. =( I guess i realized how handicapped people feel now, whether they're wheelchair bound or mentally disabled.

Since a long way back, i don't feel an indifference to them. So i told myself not to even look at them so that they wouldn't feel awkward. Whether it's out of curiosity or really out to despise them, these kinda looks will definitely make them feel out of place.

And to me, i rather hate it as well. If u see that i've got loads of pimples, ask me why, just stop staring like im some sort of creature. And it especially sucks when im in this line. =( How i wish they can just ground me. =(

Hai, not feeling very sad, just rather resigned to it, and maybe yup a little dejected.

I'm hopeful.

Haven't been blogging much lately cuz i've been preoccupied with playing NDS and watching korean dramas. hmmmmm guilty! lol Bought novels but left them around and not reading them. bah` Even my CLEO magazine is untouched.

My face is laden with pimples and it's been going on for a while now. Finally got myself to sign up a package with a beauty salon downstairs. Hope it'll rid my face of pimples within the next few months. =(((( Feeling the pinch cuz it's super ex. Costing 900 plus with the addition of my own sponge and cleanser. Jia you jia you jia you! I wanna regain my confidence =(

Yesterday i went out with dan wheeeeeeee` It's been a while. We went to Vivocity for dinner at Fruit Paradise. Had the beef hayashi rice. =)) My kind of comfort food. But somehow i think i can cook better than that. hahahhha` Cuz the beef is not tender enough and the sauce was super salty yesterday.

Shared the chocolate banana tart as well but it wasn't fantastic. =( Think the mango one is way much better!

Shopped around Vivo and finally gotten birthday presents for my twin brothers. Bought 2 pairs of berms from FOX for them. Headed to Sentosa to collect our Voyage de la Vie tickets. =)))
Gonna be the first time for me to see a circus show hee ^^ Very very excited. Thanks to our USS fun pass, we've gotten free tickets to see the show. Worth it! Definitely worth it to replace the stupid rollercoaster which hasn't opened till now.

Excited!!!!! =))) Planning to go USS and play for a while before the show on 22nd, followed by dinner after the show. hee`

Just came back from 2nd double date in 2 weeks with Ronald and Rachel.

Met up last Saturday as well. Had dinner at Dan's place and Ron and Rach came to pick us up. Headed to Sentosa Siloso Beach's Sand Bar. It's a really nice relaxing place which is not even crowded to begin with! Superb on a saturday night when u just wanna get away from the crowd. =)

Thanks for the recommendation, we've had an awesome night relaxing by the beach, drinking bottles of beer and enjoying nice satay as well.

Wanted to go catch Inception at 2am at Cathay but was too tired after drinking. Went out of Sentosa only at 12 plus and we went for supper at Lee Guang Ji in River Valley cuz i was craving for their fish slices soup. =))) Still as superb as i remembered couple of yrs ago. ^^ Went back home instead of catching the movie.

Just now, i met up with dan in amk hub at 5.30pm. Had dinner with ron and rach and caught The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Wanted to watch Inception but it was too popular, therefore tickets were selling like hot cakes. But the sorcerer's apprentice is one movie im planning on catching as well.

Very very funny show and nicholas cage never fails to crack viewers up during crucial moments, as in National Treasure. Truly worthy movie to watch and i'll give it 5 popcorns out of 5! =)

24th birthday celebration at Waraku, Starhub Centre

Met up with the girlfriends at orchard on 4th July evening. First was with Jingyun where we walked around in town and shopped abit. Then with Sandy when we grabbed some bites at Taka before heading down to Starhub Centre's Waraku. Yixian joined us only at 9pm after she knocked off from work.

Jy and i shared a sashimi platter which was really good. ^^

Sandy persuaded us into ordering sochu which tasted horrible. Wrong choice cuz dunno what to order lol`

Sandy's set which consists of unagi don and this thick soup udon. Both tasted really horrid cuz udon's soup was too sweet and weird and the unagi was really bitter we wonder why.

Jy's udon in a soup similar to sandy's except that hers comes with crab legs, so it tasted abit better.

Jy sms-ing yixian the different sashimi menu... which was in fact, a scam! After everything i got to know that she was actually texting yx her idea of a surprise for me.

To get one week away from work. Though i haven't really been working very hard lately. =X haha`

I can't wait to escape to Krabi with the boyfriend. Take a cab to Ao Nang beach and then the long tail boat to Railay Beach. ^^ Wade thru the sea water to get to our resort. ^^

It's gonna be awesome! And 6 days being in paradise will be so worth the money. Doing nothing but enjoying each other's company and just slack. ahhhh... i can't wait.

I can't sleep now. And i need to wake up at 4.40 later on for flight. Blah` Holiday mood now.

CSP Course

CSP (Certified Service Professional) Course which is a 5 days course was held in the past 2 weeks in Tanglin Shopping Centre. ^^ It ended 16th of last month. It was also the day where it rained heavily caused a flood in Orchard Road junction.

We were having our 3 hrs lunch when we took bus to Tangs and witnessed the flooded shops beside Wheelock. hmmmmm Wendy's, Dutti, Starbucks and even Hermes were completely gone. The water level was up to the steps. o.O Left us all in shock.

CSP course was really fun. And with an amazing instructor call MARSH, it's even better! He's really an experience guy so yup, learnt alot from him.

It's sunday today and i'm on standby. Already got activated for a flight later =( Blah` Must motivate myself to work, all for the sake of money. Truthfully, money means power!

Last thursday, i've asked the girls out for clubbing. Gotten invites for 4 to the grand opening party of SILK located at Orchard Hotel. =) Met up with Yixian first outside SILK at 10.30pm. We downed a couple of beers in the club and didn't enjoy the music at all cuz it was all trance. Boring. Crowd was good though cuz minimum age requirement for guys is 28 and ladies 23.

Enjoyed the performance before we head out at 11.30pm to meet up with Jingyun. Decided not to go back in and went to Mac to chill out. Nice catch-up session till 2am before we headed back home. ^^

I was having my day off on Friday. Helped my mum dyed her hair and washed the dye off as well. =) I feel good just to wait on her. Went out with Jinwei at about 2pm. Shopped in Far East for a while and didn't managed to get anything. Went over to Ion, wisma, taka, cine and lastly Somerset 313. Managed to a bag for myself from Charles & Keith. =))

Bought a belt from Fred Perry for dan as well. Am glad he really likes it alot! hehe` Never bought anything from Fred Perry before. HA`

Went for fathers' day dinner with dan's family in the evening. Dined at this zi char restaurant at Tiong Bahru, heard tt it's rather famous. But i don't find it too fantastic except for their homemade tofu.

Yesterday came the dinner i was really anticipating ever since dan popped the question. It was a dinner where both of our families meet. Rather scary i feel, but it went on well. And no we didn't mention anything about the wedding or anything close to tt. Just relaxing and having dinner together. ^^ Rather nice.

We had it in The Cathay restaurant, which really costs a bomb, courtesy of dan's parents. Appreciate it alot. Dan and i was fighting to pay for it but it didn't work out. Cost $669 in total for the 11 of us. And Cathay organization let us redeemed 12 movie tickets hahahahha` The food was really really good. Never fails to impress me each time i go there for dinner. ^^ Last night we had fried scallop with salted egg sauce, shark's fins, prawns with veggie, stir fry pork, seafood noodles, and some others i couldn't remember. Had mango sauce with sago and diced mango as well as black sesame muah chee for dessert. =)

Oh yah before i forget and throw it at the back of my head. This is something worth blogging abt so tt i could still read my blog when i grow older and smile.

Dan was really sweet last friday. Texted me at night and told me tt he would not be bunking in at my place on tt night (normally he'd bunk in so tt he could send me to work the next ultra morning) cuz he needs to do something. He then said tt he hadn't make breakfast for me in a long time.

Therefore he actually went to the supermart after work on Friday and did some shopping. Made huge breakfast for me for my flight on Saturday morning - Ham & Lettuce Pita bread and also Honey glazed chicken pita bread.

I'm so touched! ^^

Yesterday, some of the best Tiger crew got together and celebrated the union of Mr and Mrs Henry Sim. And of course we rallied together for Winnie Yam, our great colleague. ^^

The solemnization and banquet took place in Mandarin Orchard, 35th Floor. It was a grand venue with very innovative setting i feel. And i kinda like it ^^

See, it's 3 storeys with a total of about 20 tables. ^^ Not too bad and the view of the stage was great from all of the tables! Only hiccups was tt it took like forever to get drinks during cocktail timing outside the hall =(

Instructor was really cool and im totally loving it. ^^ Had Pepper lunch for dinner with love at AMK hub. Absolutely cherish the time i spend with him! And tml i'll be meeting lonely yixian. muacks` Gonna turn in now to return my sleep debt. Good night world.

Had dinner with family a while ago. Hmmmmm not really the whole family, but those who were present were my 2 brothers and their wives and me. Ray drove us over to Chong Pang Thai restaurant beside KFC which i recommended.

Very nice and cheap zi char dishes. And that they serve pretty fast, great for empty growling tummies =)

Ordered a fish maw soup, cereal prawns, sambal kangkong, fried sotong and also gong bao chicken cubes and pineapple rice, costing us 50 bucks for the 5 of us. Nice. =) Stuffed ourselves silly before we headed for a drive over to see if my future home has been built. (Still i have no idea where it's at love..OMGPLSKILLME) hahaha` Drove over to yishun dam before we head home.

Oh yah, ray doesn't own a car, this was a rented one, dunno what's the reason, prolly he's a show off =X

Anyway, i spent the whole day at home relaxing, taking care of the baby, chatting with my mum and got lunch for my family. Bought half a roast chicken for my family for lunch cuz i was craving for it from tt particular stall at the market. Gotten 2 cans of milk powder for my niece as well, to celebrate her first month. =))

She's being so naughty this whole week, crying every hour and wanting something. I think the weather's much too hot. So she can't get to sleep and has gotten really hot cuz she's just been lying on her back. And she's so strong now!! Kept moving her head on her own and boxing us. hmph` People say that it's not supposed to be like that when she's barely a month old. Blah`

Birth of a new family member!

On 3rd May 2010, my sister in-law and Chris went to Thomson Medical Center to visit her gynae for their last appointment before the birth. Ended up the gynae said that they should go for Cesarean on the same day cuz my sister in-law wanted that anyway as she didn't wanna go through any pain.

On that afternoon, she was admitted into Mount Alvernia Hospital and the operation took place at 2 PM. The baby was pushed out of the op theater and Chris, my mum and myself were so excited to see the baby girl! hehehe` Waited for a while before the mum was done with the op and was pushed into the ward.

I find that my niece has got really long legs! hehehe` =) She'll grow up to be a real beauty. hee`

'Atas' Hospital is really different. They do their business like a hotel, with bellboy when u're checking in, provides toiletries and even a goodie bag for mothers which contains baby diapers, some lotion and all.

Welcoming the baby into our family made me realized something. I do really like kids and i would love to have my own in the near future. Been getting alot of nice stuff for my niece as if she's my own. hehe`

Yesterday i was sick and down with viral flu. Went to raffles to visit the doc and headed to dan's place to rest the whole afternoon till about 5pm. Felt better and fever subsided a little. After which we went to Liang Court's atas supermarket Meidi-ya.

Finally managed to find our favorite drink - Thomas Kemper Ginger Ale. Bought some snacks as well. Had don for dinner and headed back home to get some more rest. =) Thanks to love for taking care of me. Extended my mc 2 more days cuz i didn't feel like working. ^^

Shopping is an evil word.

Met up with Yixian at 1pm in orchard for shopping last tuesday. Started off at TANGS first cuz i needed to clear off my 100 bucks voucher. Kept it for almost 2 years already phew. But it rather sucks cuz i could only get stuff that were not on offer or promotion. =( And apparently it was difficult cuz they having a major TANGS sale. =(

Finally bought a pair of havaiianas slippers and also a perfume set from Bvlgari which consists of EDT, lotion and bath gel. Needed to top up an extra 20 bucks for the perfume set cuz it cost me 70 dollars. And it was actually on offer but didn't have the offer word on the price tag lol` This sales auntie was super keen on letting me get it she was almost arguing with the cashier. hehe` Cute.

After TANGS, we were mad hungry. So we headed to ION food hall for ramen! Brought yx to the ramen-ya which jy and i had dinner the other time around.

Had our late lunch and then off we went to shop in ION. Walked around and finally took us 2 hrs before we reach TAKA. -.- That's how tempted we were lol`

Shopped somemore in TAKA and walked over to Somerset 313. Spent our last few hours there combing the levels. Bought a cheap tube dress, skirt and tank top from Forever 21. Really enjoyed ourselves tremendously cuz we didn't spend too much to do shopping.

When yx was withdrawing money from the atm machine. Told her to smile hehehe` nice.

And it was rather crazy too, to walk all the way from 1+ till 10pm, only had rest in between when taking late lunch and snack of sashimi and sushi.

I just hitched a ride from a perfect stranger who was damn nice. Never in my life i would have reenacted a scene from a movie where people just flagged down private cars and hitched a ride back home. o.O

Went to a gathering this evening at NSRCC which has got super nice bungalows but at an ulu location. Before that i met up with my colleague Beverly at orchard to get present for Kenji for his big 30!

Bev bought a tee for him and i didn't really like it. So i've gotten a fedora hat from River Island and also a bracelet from Aldo for him. Don't ask me why i spend so much. I just didn't know what to get. hmmmmmmm` Got a shirt from River Island as well for my wonderful partner ^^ hee` Hope he'll like it.

Went down to NSRCC with bev and her bf by train then cab. Had a great time there drinking and catching up with some of my ex colleagues. Miss them so much! Ahhh those were the days. =))

Chee Keong was almost gone and had to head back home before his flight few hrs later so we walked out all the way to the main road which wasn't really 'main' anyway. Took us 20 minutes i reckon. Totally no cab and nobody to fetch us home. Therefore he started to flag down private cars and one of them stopped and told us to hop in! This Sikh guy call Mohan actually fetched us both back home! Sweet =) Luckily he's staying in Yishun which was on the way.

Sweet. Never could have imagine. hehe`

Why do ladies tend to feel unappreciated easily more than men?

Is it because ladies are more sensitive and will put in 101% of their heart and soul into the relationship? So much so that they'll do all sorts of sweet stuff and secretly wishing their actions will be reciprocated? And when the true retribution doesn't come back to them, they somehow feel unappreciated?

If tt's the case, then why would she do such stuff again and again, in turn hurting herself again and again? Doesn't make sense.

I'm feeling sad.

Missed the times where the whole family would have meals together.

Now that mum became much older, she's getting more emotional and angry easily.

Today's mother's day and mum's really upset over something. Nobody's in the mood to go out for dinner. We're just not like how we were in the past anymore. Even cracking jokes while we have dinner. And always going to a nice fancy restaurant for dinner every week. Now it doesn't even happen anymore.

I feel really sad. hai` But what to do. Thinking too much about it makes me have such a big headache.

I just wanna quickly move out and have my own family. hai`

Met up with all of the girls for dinner to celebrate Yixian's birthday. ^^ Dined at Hog's Breath Cafe at Chijmes cuz the birthday girl was craving for steak. Only had our dinner at about 10pm cuz she knocked off at 9pm.

All of us have never been there before except JY. Love the food there!

And for the mains, we had fish n chips which weren't too fantastic.

And a full rack of ribs ^^ didn't find the ribs too fantastic too cuz the meat wasn't fall off the bone kind.

Ordered a cream of seafood soup as well . ^^

Really enjoyed our dinner alot!! And the steak is to die for over here. =P Love the company as well.

After dinner we contemplated on where to go for drinks after tt. And after a long time of brainstorming, we've finally decided on just finding a place in Chijmes itself. Headed to La Baroque which was beside Harry's where we were originally planning to go to. Ordered a drink each and while the time away. Had a good chat regarding boys and it felt great. hehe`

Forced to go back home cuz the stench from the ciggies were killing us. And while walking out out Chijmes, i was in front of the pack. This stupid caucasian guy just jumped out of the pillar and gave us a scare. JY and i screamed and scolded him. Well i should have just kicked him in the balls or something. Wasted.

And in the past week, i was too busy working and didn't even have enough sleep before i get back to work again. Only highlight was probably grocery shopping with my mum in Fairprice where i spent over a hundred but it was just damn shiok.

And yesterday, i had a well deserved day off as well. Went out with dan to Marina Square. Changed over a hundred for coins which i needed for my float onboard. Walked around and bought snacks from Watsons. Headed back to his place to relax before we had dinner with his family - Popiah. His mum prepared all the ingredients right down to fried garlic and chilli. Bought the popiah skin and kueh pie tee from Joo Chiat. ^^

Had an enjoyable night.

i could just stand up in the middle of my room and dance around!!!! I can't wait to go out with my girls tonight! hee` Bestest friends of my life - dearest sandy, yixian and jingyun. ^^ muacks!

Dan said he's gonna stay home to take care of the kids again. So yup. let's have fun tonight! hee` Kidding, there are no kids to begin with. But he did say tt. hmmmm`

I'm plugged into my ipod now, blasting David Cook's voice so that i can't hear the thunder roar =( Hate it when the thunder gets a tad too loud, cuz it'll give me a fright as my back is facing my room's window and can't see the lightning.

Stayed the whole day at home today and did my drama serial marathon. heheh` Watched like more than 10 episodes of 'jiu xiang lai zhe ni'. Cooked instant noodles for myself while my mum and chris went out to jalan. Having sensitive tooth now =( Hurts when i drink soup or cold drinks. Really sad cuz it's so uncomfortable.

I think my tummy's flatter now. But these couple of days i couldn't really stick to my one main meal per day cuz of my night flights. Tend to feel more peckish and kept wanting to eat. argh. And before my chennai flight dan had to force me to eat mac. BAH`

ladida i wanna go out now now now.. i can't wait, not another few more hours!

and i really wanna go out and have fun! with my girlfriends, with my boyfriend. ^^

Went to amk central last week and shopped around with my mum. Bought these 2 sets of clothes for my niece who will be due next month!

Super cute right? but they're for 2 yrs old kids hehe` bought them from FOX for $29 bucks.

Feeling really bored now that i'm at home and not working. Been really treating my place like hotel recently, and sometimes i won't even get enough sleep before my next flight. Think i can hit 2.7k this month haha!

Finally having 2 days off in a row tml and day after yay! ^^

Slept the whole day until 4pm and i feel tired again now. Will be turning in soon.

it's a bad idea,

to paint my nails in my room when the air con's on. o.O cuz my dogs ended up sneezing straight away when they come in. lol` it was truly a funny sight.

Met up with Jingyun at Orchard mrt station at 6.30pm just now. And i've forgotten to bring my TANGS and marks and spencer vouchers. -.- omg. The TANGS one is gonna expire come June. And sandy, don't forget ur TAKA voucher as well.

Walked around in Isetan supermarket cuz JY wanted to get 2 bottles of ATAS orange juice.. lol` Freaking 30+ i think for 2 bottles of it.. hahaha` Bought my favorite Lotus caramelized biscuits as well. Headed to Far East and gotten cheap belts for ourselves.

Had our dinner in level one - Chippy's fried curry chicken and battered fish and fries ^^ Sat down to relax with fruit juices as well before we walked out of Far east. Wanted to leave already when we came across this shop call Future State and they were having 50 and 70% discount. omg. hehe` In the end JY bought 3 tops and i've gotten a dress and 3 tops for myself. =P Totally worth it! wheeeeeeeeee` Mine cost a total of 79 bucks.

Super happy that we've stumbled upon this shop just before they close for the night. ^^

Night out with the ladies

Went out with Jingyun and Yixian last wednesday night. (7th Apr) First off, i met up with JY in ION. And within 5 minutes i bought this pair of lovely earrings from Rubi and put them on straight away =X Women and impulsive buys hai`

We then went for dinner at ION Food hall. Spoilt for choice, we finally settled on this Ramen eatery. hee` Well we've laid our eyes on it the other time when we passed by the place with Sandy. =)))

This is JY's White miso ramen with our 2 servings of seasoned eggs.

And this is mine - red miso ramen which tasted stronger than white miso ramen. ^^

Enjoyed our food alot and we absolutely love the food!!! hehe` The eggs tasted super good except they were a tad too salty for me even though i adore salty food. I couldn't finish half of the egg. hehe`

Went shopping after our dinner in ION and JY bought earrings for herself too! from a shop which i strongly believe is affiliated to ZARA. hmmmmmmm` Bought lip balm for myself too from Kiehl's. Been always wanting to get it only waited till now. lol`

Walked around the place and gotten stumbled upon this bakery which we both love! Love everything they have there. Bought a strawberry cream cheese bread to share and also a custard pie for yixian to try. Absolute love this place so much hehehe` Definitely heading back there again later when im going to orchard.

Yixian was done with her course and met up with us at Vivocity. Accompanied her to have dinner at BK. Shared a drink with JY and we caught up with each other over our strawberry cream cheese bread.

After yixian's dinner, we went to St James which was a stone's throw away. Reached at 11 plus and we queued for an hour for our ladies' drinks. crazy. By the time we were done we didn't feel like dancing anymore cuz totally killed our mood. Stayed in Powerhouse for a while before we went to the other places and stopped at Boiler's Room for our last stop.

Sat down w/o drinks and listened to the live band sing. After which we stared at these 2 malay ladies' boobies cuz one of them had hers squeezed together until they looked so miserable and shaking vigorously when dancing. Poor boobies. I swear they couldn't breathe heheh`

And then we realized that they were accompanied by 3 chinese guys who doesn't seemed to be interested in them. double yucks hehehe` One of them came over and talked to me asking me if we'd like some drinks and they'll treat us. o.O And so the only main conclusion was the girls didn't like them, and that they sucks at socializing. So yup. Never gonna see them again. haha`

Horror of horrors we discovered that the boobies girl referred to one of the guys as her husband. hehehehhehehehhe` And it was her bday therefore she wanted to drag us to go dance with them in Powerhouse. But nope we're so not interested. hahah` Dan said it's always the guys' idea and not the girls' one when the girls' are the ones who're asking other girls to join. hmmmmmm`

Anyhow it was a fun night nevertheless. ^^
