One of the worst flights ever.
But im not afraid of dying, just thought how thrilled it'd be to be able to open the door and inflate the slide. haha stupid me.Operated Perth flight on Saturday afternoon. We took off at 4pm smoothly but felt something weird cuz the small little sounds we hear onboard weren't the usual ones. My position was S2, so i was stationed in the galley most of the times. Set up the carts and pushed it to the forward and wanted to start our service.
Captain was our company's Safety Pilot, Eugen Krahn, we call him 'Superman' cuz his body's really nice and he's a real charming and nice gentleman. He must be like 1.9metres tall. hmmmm`
He called us in the forward telling us not to start our service as they have a problem they're trying to fix, not even sure if it's with 1 engine or both. And they really took out all their manuals to try to solve it. In the end they couldn't and we almost diverted back to Sg. But they decided to head down to Perth and if the engineers deemed us unfit to fly back, we'll have to stay in Perth.
Of course it wasn't good news, but we were all well trained seniors already. Carried on with the service as usual. Everything was good. And we even managed to get the engineers to sign the paper for us to go back to SG.
Was busy thru'out the flight and didn't even manged to finish doing my stuff when i sit down to land in SG. The place where i sat, i could see outside from the window shade as i was facing the galley. Our aircraft had already descended until the level of the streetlights. But we went up again and didn't land. Wondered why we had the reject landing, but we reckon it was due to the bad weather cuz we were really swaying.
'Superman' made an announcement saying that the reject landing was due to shear winds. It was rather terrifying. And so was the 2nd attempt at landing. It was a really hard one. But we're in one piece. =)
Probably one of the worst flights ever. But we survived.
Down with bad flu the day after. Felt lonely at home but glad i have my family with me. =) Sunday off shouldn't be spent at home. =( In any case, im just glad my family's always there for me. And even mum bought my favourite food back home.
And today, im home as well, bored at usual on my day off. Watched a couple of movies and TV as well. I really won't touch the TV but since im really bored, why not. Gonna give myself some love and pamper myself. ^^
Sometimes u just have to learn to love yourself more. Don't wait for others to give u love cuz some people just might not be sensitive enough. So don't wait, give yourself the love u deserve, pamper yourself more and be more independent. =)

Weird people in the world.
In yesterday's pre-flight briefing to my set of crew, i've told them to be extra tactful nowadays when speaking to the passengers as a lot of rich businessmen are going budget now.Nevertheless, we get very well educated passengers and also some rather funny people on board.
o.O
When doing the FnB service with my crew, i was serving passengers on the right side when suddenly the ones on the left were trying to get my attention. These 3 men seemed to be in their mid forties. It was whimsical when i informed them that we do not provide even water on board and this is the concept of a Low Cost Carrier. -.- (Apparently they're not familiar with the business model.)
They were rather disturbed and amused by it. (wish i could knock some sense into them) And so, the pax seated near the aisle asked me, "So if i've fainted and dying you also won't give me water?" Apparently he thought he was making a good point. But firstly, you're not a parent you don't need water for your baby's milk, secondly, you're not very old and neither do you need water for medicine.
And finally i thought to myself. If you bloody hell wanna carry that freaking 3 Singapore dollars or 114 Indian Rupees into your grave even when you die, so be it. I think you deserve it, you miser. So yup, go ahead and dehydrate yourself in such a dry cabin environment for 4 hours.

Anyway, i was on standby yesterday and supposed to do Haikou afternoon flight today. But they needed a CIC to operate the Chennai night flight. And so i did it. Which in turn resulted in no sleep for more than 24 hours, since yesterday 9am till today 10am when i slept like a baby until 4 plus. ^^
1st sector to Chennai was crazy.. Cuz there were too many orders for FnB and the service was taking too long until i was almost dying of thirst. -.- Coming back was alright and not feeling too sleepy as there was an ex crew from SQ who came to chat with us. His experiences were all very interesting haha`
Took train back home after flight but first the shuttle bus to T2 first. Was listening to music and closing my eyes resting in the bus when i heard a lot of taps on my backrest. Can't be bothered so carried on resting. It continued and i turned behind and saw one of my passengers. Yup, he got my attention -.-
Started chatting with him as much as i was unwilling. Who wanna do PR when u haven't slept for almost 24 hours!!!! Siao`
Ended up he stuck to me and we took train together. Luckily i had to get down at City hall while he continued on his journey to Boon Lay. Wondering why indians look so mature? Weird.. cuz he's just a month older than me. o.O Anyhow, that 'short' 40 minutes seemed like eternity -.- Was terrible when i was super shagged and having to stand. And worst still, must entertain him.
When my mum called me to ask if i was on my way home, he asked me who was it, is it boyfriend. HELLO !@#$%^& And when i answered family, he didn't trust me and asked if it was my boyfriend. WTF! Totally can't be bothered with him. Before that asked if i have a handphone somemore but he didn't have the courage to ask for my number i think.
Even better. lol Though i've already thought of how i'll reject giving my number. I'll just tell him i can't give him my number. As simple as that. omg.... shagged and totally dots.....

6.30 am now..
And im still awake.. Heading to bed soon. Feeling rather tired =)Just came back from flight not long ago. Had an extremely great time working with Hartini, Amy and Calvin today. =) Calvin's a new crew and it's really fun to work with him. We've really enjoyed ourselves as usual, except for a couple of irritating passengers..
PRC: （pointing to the 'smoke' coming out in the cabin) 小姐，这是什么？ （apparently he looks abit flustered too)
me: (Looking uninterested and very very cool) 先生， 这是冷气。。。
Like totally wth lor -.- This is really classic, hehe especially what some of the dumb PRCs can come up with. I believe i said it loud enuff for the other passengers to hear. So prolly other people will be laughing -.- Really one kind..

6 days straight of not working.
Couple of days of not blogging. Let's see. =) I'm off today and tomorrow. And then followed by 4 days of annual leave! =)Worked on Sunday. Did a short morning flight and dan came to fetch me after tt. Brought me to Maxwell market cuz i really miss having Tian Tian Chicken Rice. But horrors of horrors, the queue was super long and we're not up for queueing. In the end he got ngoh hiang and i had pork ribs and pork stomach mee sua. Both were not bad at all, especially my soup stock. hehe` =)
Went back home to rest cuz we were both too tired after that as we slept only about 3 hours the night before.
Yesterday, it was a rather fun flight cuz i was working with Farisha at the back. Both seniors equates to better productivity and we know what to do. lol` Was having real good fun. Especially so when i was doing boarding from Saigon to Singapore, this Vietnamese guy in his late twenties came over to the back and asked me a question, with Farisha standing beside me.
Weird Guy (WG): **FLUSTERED** I've left my cell phone in my luggage and it's still on.
Me: Oh is it in your check-in luggage? (Like the only reason why somebody wld be flustered)
WG: No it's there. ** proceeds to point at the overhead compartment.
Me: Well sir, u can take our ur cell phone from ur luggage and switch it off. *Roll eyes* after he walked away.
My god....................... I'll totally have alot of lines on my face if i'm watching myself in a comic book. o.O *faint Impossible....
Thanks to love for making the effort to take me home after the tiring flight. =))
Stayed home all day today, only went out to amk hub for dinner with Daryl. 2nd visit to Ichiban sushi and loving it already. hee` Their soft shell crabs are soooooo juicy. *slurps. Bathed the 2 puppies today too and played with them.
See? They can sit when i have treats in my hand!

After running around the whole day they have to go back to their fenced up area to rest. Quite well-trained already.

Yawn...
Up working the whole night and morning yet i can only managed a period of 3 hours' sleep! omg. Was up cuz of there was a malay wedding just at the void deck opposite my block. =( Sad. Couldn't sleep after tt and was listening to songs since 1pm. Bah`Dearest was so sweet. We had dinner together in Terminal 1's Popeyes last night before i went for flight. And this morning he picked me up and we had breakfast in Changi Village before hitting the sacks when we reached home. ^^
Last night's flight was crazily fun! hehe` First time working with this PRC lady - Yixin. And she's such a nice sister to me. hehe` Calling me funny names and yep we really do hit it off rather well. Maybe cuz she doesn't have tt accent even when she speaks mandarin. hehe` We've even made a pact to go for hotpot someday!
We've encountered very very extremely unreasonable pax last night. Yixin really did returned 47 bucks to this passenger seated at the last row. But end of the flight he insisted he didn't received it at all. So he kinda questioned Yixin's character and even her professionalism, commenting that she lacks the latter totally from the way she serves passengers. So i stood up for her and kind of chided the passenger, who happens to be a male, preying on a poor girl. -.-
I told him the money issue is one thing and we've settled it, but professionalism is another. And she's not a Singaporean duh she's not well versed in English thus he may not judged her in that way. And i told him to watch what he's saying cuz he can't just judge people of the other nationalities by their command of English. His friend was even trying to stop him from making a nuisance. Bloody shallow indian fucker. -.- In the end i told him to continue emailing into the company with the issue about the change and to bring up Yixin's name, but we can't return him the money. Ended up we even had abit of shortage at the end of the flight, which proven Yixin has indeed returned him the change.
And of course flight is never ever boring with KD, the royal decendent of Aisin Gioro family. hee` Totally love to fly with him, cuz we're all so chatty when mixed together. ^^ Of course not forgetting the first solo newbie Nicholas from Temasek Poly.
Hee i must really stop myself from spending money.. Just bought another lovely indie print toga top from Lyla + Rose. =x And before the flight last night, i went to get Dior Shine fragrance, which cost me a whopping 100 bucks after discount. o.O How cool is that? I mean about spending money hehe`
And guess what?????
It's sunday today and im off all the way till wednesday! Wootz` God im lovin it. Wanna paint the town red with love tonight lalalalala yay` since we're not working tomorrow. Seriously.. i miss dancing with him.. And he has to tempt me by singing to those retro hits on class 95 and shaking his body. Damn it. =( I wanna go for a nice dinner with him.. ^^

Back on track.
Been working for the past few days. Did KL/BKK flight on Wednesday and got activated for the same flight the next day too -.- Had a very terrible flight on Wednesday cuz of yet another shallow pax onboard the last sector. Was so affected i actually cried onboard. First time. hai` He was super unreasonable and even pushed another of my colleague. He got yelled by the captain and was being issued a warning letter.Gonna get a complain letter from him definitely but i do not give a damn cuz he's such an ass.
Thanks to love cuz he sprung me a surprise. We had a little tiff the night before and he waited for me to touch down in BT. *Touched. Especially when i've had a very long day and it feels really good to be able to have someone to cry to and talk to.
On thursday, flight was alright and dan came and brought me home as well. =)
Was on standby yesterday too but didn't get activated for any flights. Phew. -.- Went out with dearest at 8+pm for dinner at Waraku in Marina Square.
haha lovely red light. Owe it to the brake lights from the car in front of us =X
We totally heart Waraku!!! It's like our favourite japanese restaurant for lovely side dishes and ramen/udon stock and of course BEST AL DENTE CHA SOBA!
i love i love i love i love their cha soba........................................Dan ordered their seafood udon in thick stock and stone bowl. And he totally love it rofl` The stock is really good. hehe`
See... this picture proven how much he love it.. Don't care abt me at all, just kept slurping his noodles.

Ordered some side dishes - Geso Karaage. favourite squid tentacles.
Scallop in butter. Very very average. Fresh scallops though.We had grilled saba fish too. but forgot to take a shot of it hehe`
We really did have a great and satiated meal! ^^ Went to marina square to walk around and to our favourite hideout - Catch masak. hehe` There's this new area where u can catch masak, just along the stretch where u walk to arcade/cinema/bowling alley. ^^ Very nice. hehe` Spent our senseless money there and finally credit to me, i've caught a very exclusive nice toy!!! hehe` Oh well, say tt i'm good baby!!
Went back to love's place to watch some clips before he sent me home at 3am. =)) Lovely date.

Yet another shallow pax
Went to Siem Reap, Cambodia via Jet star from 21st Sep to 25th Sep. Flight was at 6am.The day before, which is a Friday, i met up with Dan, Rachel and Ronald for dinner in Chomp Chomp. ^^ Didn't really enjoy the dinner cuz i was still having a bad throat. Discussed about their plans for marriage - Solemnization dinner in Equinox (Swissotel) in December ^^ Really excited for my dear girlfriend. hee`
And the next day, i went to do a morning flight and love came and took me out to dinner. =) After which he stayed over at my place and we had fun all night which resulted in not sleeping much hehe` Did my last minute packing too and we head out to the airport and reached at about 4.30am.
Met up with the others who joined us in the trip. So total 6 of us - Chris and me, Sherman, Ah qing, Heather and Uncle Tony. All of whom are Chris' buddies but i do know most of them too hehe` They're really awesome travelling buddies i must say wahahha`
Caught our breakfast in transit hall - Prata Sausages before we boarded the plane. Shall elaborate more on the trip when i get the pictures. It was a totally awesome trip ^^

Came back on thursday and did dinner with dan in Chomp Chomp. Too bad my favourite Ah hock hokkien mee is not open =( ARGH sad` Had my day off the next day and worked yesterday followed by dinner with dan again in Jalan Kayu. haha Dinner with dan the man 3 days in a row. Definitely not sick of seeing him cuz he always make me laugh soooo much.
This pax last night in the last sector really pissed me off. Other passengers in row 1 asked me if they can take their bags down cuz it's way down the aisle in the overhead compartments. So i said sure, as long as u can fit them under the seats. Then this bloody fucking shallow barbaric uncle in row 3 also monkey see monkey do and did the same thing. But difference is his bag is a bloody huge trolley bag.
So i told him to put it up in the overhead compartment and my tone was nice and sweet. Yet his tone was angry and said he didn't wanna be the last pax to disembark cuz of his bag in the overhead compartment and it was only at bloody row 4 which is only 1 row behind -.- WTF
Then he carried on to say "Shit, you were the one who said i can get my bag down" I was peeved and told him to mind his language. And that by all means if ur bag can fit under the seat i'd allow u to bring it down, but his is huge. Then he proceeded to stupidly squeeze it under the seat. Fine. And i moved 1 row down, and said to him loudly so that he'll be embarrassed - " AND SIR, PLEASE MIND YOUR LANGUAGE WHEN YOU SPEAK TO OTHER PEOPLE"
Told my CIC about it and guess what she did? She's such a freaking cool bitch in this sense hehe` She's a new CIC and used to fly with SQ, a mother of 4 too. ^^ She actually stood at row 2 and said loudly "Is this the passenger who scolded you?" And proceeded to point at him.. OMGOMGOMG She rawks totally!!! hehe` Of course i told her it's ok, we don't have to stoop to shallow people's level.hehe`
Well just a gentle reminder to monkey pax. I hope ur balding hair continues to drop somemore and u'll become even more ugly (in actual fact u're quite hideous already). We cabin crew are not ur usual waitresses, we do not condone verbal abuses, especially when it comes to safety. Would have most prolly issued him a warning letter and bar him from future TR flights if this incident hadn't happen when we were about to land. WTH`
